Twitterers love their moms
So yesterday was pretty fun, it seems like people like the idea!
We’ve seen great reception from our friends on Twitter and on TechCrunch. Thousands of people visited the site and hundreds have signed up. People are letting their mom know they went to the gym, are still at work but will eat soon, and are curious if she needs groceries.
We’ve also seen some fun pranks… you know who you are!
People in England, Germany, South Korea, Japan, Brazil, and India love their moms too. We’ll be working on UK support this weekend.
Thanks everyone for using hashtagmom.com! Here are some of our favorite tweets:

I don’t know why hashtagmom is getting so much press. I’ve been texting your mom when you’re out of town for years.
